I built my distribution business simply through a passion for skincare/beauty cosmetics. Being based in the southwest of England brought its challenges but I conducted thorough market research to understand the needs of potential customers, which enabled me to source high-quality products that met their expectations. As the business grew, I focused on providing exceptional customer service, which fostered loyalty and led to recommendations. Continuous adaptation to market trends and customer feedback has been crucial in scaling the business and navigating the challenges of a competitive landscape.
Dream it
At the very beginning of the business we purchased stock from wholesalers then distributed them to retailers and other wholesalers. As the business grew we recognised the importance of working directly with brands/manufactures and have successfully made the pivot to where this has become our business model. Our business relies on brand relationships so we prioritise keeping our suppliers and customers happy.
Believe it
What was once a dream has become a reality but the story doesn’t end there. In the future we plan on launching our own Beauty brand alongside continuously distributing top quality products to our customers. We understand our ideas will take a lot of work to perfect but this is the price (+ VAT) that we are willing to pay to deliver top quality products to our customers.
